Michael Jackson dies

To be gone at just 50 - that is sad. But his music will live on inside us forever. Such beautiful melodies, sung with that cry in his voice; and the others that just insisted that we got up off our bums and danced!

For the all the controversy that surrounded the man, it is his music that will be remembered kindly in history. That is his legacy.

My blog would've been incomplete if I didn't record my goodbye to him today: Goodbye, Michael.

I agree with you.
I wrote one on my blog yesterday at the request of my eldest daughter.
She knew I was a great fan of MJ..so I definitely must say something too.

Yes..goodbye to MJ who was from our age-group..only that he'll forever be remembered as the guy who never grew old.

RIP..

You are right about him being from our generation - he was two years younger than I am. Our generation got a lot of hebat flers, eh?

But yes, he was indeed a Peter Pan, and now, in death, he'd have achieved his dream of staying forever young.
