We've got a new little girl at Windsong! She's a miniature dachshund, and she's seven years old.
In the picture above, she's posing in our driveway... with her makeshift tee-shirt on. She's only just been spayed, and instead of putting her in an elizabethan collar, we've put her in this tee, so that she can't worry her scar/wound until it's well healed.

Yup, E, spaying is a given in our household!! I think it is the kindest thing to do, especially as we never intend to breed them anyways. I cannot imagine my babies having babies :(
